Royal Oak Langstone

After our lovely visit to Santa in a Camper at Mount Noddy RSPCA, we decided to explore some local places which we’ve long known about but somehow never visited, whilst enjoying a nice drive in Seabert.

We took the country roads to make our way back, thinking of pubs on the way that are dog friendly and serve nice food for lunch.

Driving through the little villages of Fishbourne, Nutbourne, Southbourne and Emsworth, there are lots of lovely pubs and cafe’s to choose from, like the Bosham Inn, the Sussex Brewery and the Driftwood Cafe.

I suddenly remembered an old pub in Langstone, hidden behind the Ship Inn pub, right by the water. The Royal Oak is a lovely, old pub right on the quay side, near beautiful countryside which is great for walks.

Luna was welcome too, in the bar areas, and we sat and watched the tide go out and had a lovely lunch. If you’re ever in the area, it’s well worth a visit.
